Pavel Lunev took 1st place in both JUNIOR21 MEN LEFT 80 KG and JUNIOR21 MEN RIGHT 80 KG, at the 35th World Armwrestling Championships 2013 [See ► RESULTS: 35th World Armwrestling Championships 2013 (WAF)].
After the doping tests were made, Pavel was on the RESULTS: Doping Control WAF Worlds 2013 │ 35th World Armwrestling Championships 2013, therefore he was disqualified for 2 years, till 31 October 2015 [See ► DOPING SANCTIONS FOR POSITIVE CASES │ 35th World Armwrestling Championships 2013].
Last year in September 2014, Pavel participated at an Armwrestling event in Pattaya, Thailand. Therefore he violated the suspension period imposed by World Armwrestling Federation (WAF).
Due to the violation of the suspension period, the new 2-year suspension imposed by WAF for Pavel Lunev is: 01 October 2014 – 30 September 2016.
