Sometimes life can be so cruel, I am truly devastated tonight, to have learned of the passing of a friend from our great Armwrestling Family, a Man whom I have know for more than 15 years & whom I was extremely fond of. Ueli Bühler of Switzerland was perhaps not the Greatest Champion in the Sport of Armwrestling BUT to me his face was as familiar, & his presence at an event as welcomed as any. Ueli was one of life’s Nice Guys, a really lovely genuine person who always had time for everyone, a warm smile & a lot of joy & laughs to share. You only had to look into his eyes to know the warmth his character possessed & I am extremely saddened to learn of his passing. The Sport of Armwrestling has truly lost one of our own as this Man LOVED the Sport & gave back to everyone whom had the good fortune to know him within it. He was a Good Man & someone I am honoured to have known & counted amongst my friends. RIP Ueli Bühler x Thank you for the smiles Brother, you will never be forgotten mate x

One of the greatest persons of the armwrestling-family has left the stage. I am still shocked and very sad about the loss of our good friend Ueli Bühler! I am sure somewhere in heaven Ueli pulls now versus one of the legends and starts a big party after his win. We all lost an amazing man and great sportsman.
