Ratings for armwrestlers according to Engin Terzi

I made a table with all the ratings for armwrestlers I found, posted by Engin Terzi in Armwrestling John – Engin. The ratings for female armwrestlers will be added here soon in a new table.

Engin Terzi:

my definitions of;

Quality: mostly hand & wrist control ability..also the co-ordination of the muscle groups..not being able to apply the techniques but the quality of application

Explosiveness: not necessarily speed alone but the speed of maximum strength (0-60)

Well Roundness: being able to apply different techniques effectively

P4P strength: the strength compared to to your body weight

Experience: the knowledge that you learnt from your participations

Table intelligence: analysing your opponent and making the right desicions before and after “THE GO”

Endurance: capacity to endure physical stress during a single match & all event

Best single move: effectiveness of a single best move

Engin Terzi: of course these are only “according to Engin” ratings..

INTERVIEW: Denis Cyplenkov – Winner of A1 RUSSIAN OPEN – World Armwrestling Grand Prix – 27-28 July 2012

” Dennis Tsyplenkov scored two brilliant victories in the Open category A1 in the tournament and collected a record amount of prize money – $ 20,000. We could not interview him after the tournament.

IRON WORLD : Hi, Dennis. In the event you have been very bold and dry. I love you so never seen. Why is that?

Dennis Tsyplenkov : Hi! Just outside the summer, and I have long been resigned to that in winter, weigh 140 kg, and in the summer – 135 kg. Yes, and it is difficult in the summer with the weight! I’m trying to get in shape to be comfortable in the first place!

JM : Not going to do you for example your friend Michael Sidorycheva, try your hand at bodybuilding?

D. C. : In bodybuilding is not going to, I think it is very harmful to the health of the sport! A Health me more useful!

JM : On the A1 tournament you were in very good shape. You have improved start. Tell me about your preparation for this tournament.

D. C.: I’ve always said that the tournament with a large number of participants must be addressed as quickly as possible so as not to hide! Therefore, the strain at the start of training in the first place!

JM: We are discussing the possibility of holding all your armfayta with Larratom. Do you think if you are ready now to fight in armfaytah? Will there be enough stamina?

D. C.: I am ready to fight anyone, but with the more Larratom! Of course, armfayty require other training, but it’s a matter of time! You can get used to everything and get ready too!

JM: Will you take part in the Nemiroff World Cup?

D. C.: My participation in the “Nemiroff” is open to question!

JM: Do you not intend to speak at the European Championships or the world to meet standards of MSIC and weathering?

D. C.: In principle, I am ready to perform anywhere! I choose only those tournaments where the prize can at least discourage the costs invested in training. I’m not ready to work and earn money to pour all of the preparation and travel to tournaments and did not receive in return.

JM: You are performing a bench press competition, it does not interfere with arm wrestling?

D. C.: Bench Press interfere a little bit, as much hurt your elbows! But for now, get to combine.

JM: How many times a week do you train?

D. C.: I train differently. In the off-season workouts a week, 5.3, 3.2 in the season workouts.

JM: That is in preparation for a competition you missing two workouts a week?

D. C.: Yes, I have two workouts are enough.

JM: How many days before start of training did you do last?

D. C.: A week.

JM: You have to hold on a huge muscle mass. Do you think whites in their diets? Observe whether the rule 2 oz. protein per 1 kg of weight?

D. C.: Proteins do not think! He passed through it, and it was very hard! There was plenty of food, but do not eat, now eat less, but much more tasty food.

JM: And what did you eat today?

D. C.: After the tournament, I do all the easy: fruits, vegetables and milk.

JM: And what you eat during training?

D. C.: As usual, ate: just more vitamins and minerals.

J. M. Dennis, Dorian Yates at 5-6 kg per day of solid food eaten, and you – as usual …

D. C.: I think if no liquid, kg 3 eat …

JM: Tell me a word about the tournament A1. You liked the organization?

D. C.: super tournament, the main thing – that was the sequel! And as far as I know, it will be! Well done! Mishta Filimonov and thank you for the tournament! Superorganizatsiya! And about amerikosov, they all the same pluck and come! The main thing – that the tournament was a regular! Good luck to the organizers!

JM: In the following year prize at the A1 will remain the same. You will be involved?

D. C.: I will, of course, if invited …

Total prize winners of the tournament A1 RUSSIAN OPEN 2012 – RUSARTARHIV – 27-28 July 2012

” Completed the main start of the year. Was demonstrated excellent organization of the tournament, it is very decent job judging panel and, of course, clear and uncompromising struggle.

Well, because the main feature of the tournament was a record prize fund – $ 113,000, the main interest is the question, how many athletes were able to earn, speaking at this event?I must say, cash prizes ranging from $ 700 have exactly 40 (!) Arm wrestlers, a record for the competition in this sport.
The maximum possible amount – $ 23,000 – was announced long ago. Such a sum would amount to the prize for the first two places in his weight class and two first places in absolyutke. This amount has not won one since the two most important tournament favorite – Chicken and Denis Andrey Pushkar – decided not to waste your time to fight in their categories, and to fight only in absolyutke. As a result, Dennis has collected a record $ 20,000 for the first two places, and Andrew collected the second largest amount in this tournament – $ 14,000 for two second. The third-largest prize the result – $ 9,300 collected Rustam Babayev. Rustam was the only armrestlera in this tournament, which was able to get the prize in four weight classes. The first two places in the category, and 3rd and 7th place in absolyutke, despite the fact that in 4 categories, fought a number of well-known and more serious arm wrestlers, such as Alex Semerenko, Sergey Tokarev, Terrence Opperman, Gregory Smith and others . What amounts have been able to make the other participants of the tournament, you can see in the list below and make your own opinion of how profitable it was who participate in this tournament. I would particularly like to note that the seventh-largest prize – $ 3000 – could earn five players in the tournament, among them an athlete with a disability Yusupaliev Yusur and the winner in the category of “up to 65 kg of” women’s Smooth Irina. Prize of this size with disabilities and women in the history of arm wrestling has not been, and it opens up new horizons in the development of the sport. Very pleased that the arm wrestling moves smoothly on a commercial footing. The sport became more spectacular, the level of athletes has been steadily increasing, the process of training is becoming more professional and would like to see this process going on!
