” I didn’t enjoy weight training. And I realized it didn’t help me in the sport . It simply did not translate to the table. I still do a push up now and then for general health but nothing secret earth shattering to follow for the sport of armwrestling ! What works ? Is a Good Team of other pullers !!! Plain and Simple ! No bull ! ”
” I would never tell anyone not to train healthy lifts … But IMO it doesn’t hold the key to become champion . ”

Phil Rasmussen: ” John what about bodyweight style exercises like pullups, pushups etc? I remember seeing you swing around on a playground in Pulling John just using the neutral grip on a playground for some pullups but you might have just been warming up the arms for what was to come 🙂 ”
