Złoty Tur Armwrestling World Cup – Rumia 2019 & Vendetta Top 8 Final
The greatest armwrestling legends, the strongest athletes in the world and great sports emotions – this is how, in short, you can announce the Professionals’ World Cup in Armwrestling the “Złoty Tur Armwrestling World Cup 2019” and the “Vendetta TOP 8 – Rumia 2019” Final, which will take place from 7 to 8 December in MOSiR Rumia, Poland.
Złoty Tur World Cup
Professionals’ World Cup in Armwrestling is the most recognizable and the most prestigious armwrestling event in the world. At the special invitation of the organizers, approximately 200 strongest competitors from over 30 countries and 6 continents will participate, including from Africa, South and North America, Australia, Europe and Asia. They are players holding the titles of the World, European, Asian or American Champion. The Polish national team will count several players. The biggest event of “ZŁOTY TUR WORLD CUP – Rumia 2019” will be the selection of the strongest player of the year 2019 in the OPEN category. Most of the contestants show powerful stature, above 100 kilograms. Sometimes the lighter categories also enter the lead, and the duels in which David wins with Goliath are not uncommon.
It is possible, because despite appearances, armwrestling is primarily a technique, not just animal power. There are about 50 different techniques in this sport, which are chosen for their individual preferences, but also for the rival’s style of fighting.
Vendetta Top 8 Final
Creme de la creme of world armwrestling. Vendetta is a great duel in the Armfight system, meaning duels in their rules reminiscent of professional boxing fights. Two competitors fight six rounds (six duels) on the right hand. Gala in Rumia will be the third, final edition of Vendetta TOP 8, with a prize pool of 120,000 USD (previous ones were held in Malaysia and China).
The highest ranked athletes in the world ranking of professionals, who create a battle card, which in the world armwrestling have never been before, were invited to participate:
