The title for this video on youtube is Heihachi Mishima, below you will see some info from wikipedia about the fictional character Heihachi Mishima of the Tekken fighting series.

Heihachi Mishima (Japanese: 三島 平八 Hepburn: Mishima Heihachi) is a fictional character and one of the main antagonists of the Tekken fighting game series, given that he is almost always responsible for the series’ events, though his impact has appeared to decrease as the series goes on as of Tekken 5 to onwards. He is one of only three characters (the others being Paul Phoenix and Nina Williams) to have appeared in every game in the series, making one appearance within the series as the main character and two as the final boss.

Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada has stated that Heihachi is his favorite character in the overall series and the character he most frequently selects when playing. He further described Heihachi as a “very human character”, stating that while focus had been placed on his appearance he found the character’s philosophy more interesting, and that in the series he was a “perfect portrayal of the evil that lurks in mens’ hearts”, an evil “far more hideous than any made-up monster or demon.”

Atlantic City – ADDED WEIGH-IN TIME!

Arm-wrestlers will now be able to weigh in from 9am – 10am on Saturday 10/25. This weigh-in will take place in the ‘Opal A’ room. We know it can be difficult for local pullers to drive in a day early just to weigh in, so we’ve opened up this additional time to make it easier.

Weigh-in times:
Fri 10/24: 9am – 12pm and 6pm – 9pm
Sat 10/25: 9am – 10am

To allow our officials enough time to build the brackets after weigh-ins, the TOURNAMENT WILL NOW START at 1pm, with FINALS BEGINNING around 7pm.

We’ll reply to questions in the comments or via Direct Message. See you at the Taj Mahal!

” WAL/Game of Arms UPDATE!

PULLERS: This is to confirm that Game of Arms will still shoot at WAL Atlantic City, NJ. As many of you know, AMC decided last week to shut down its reality TV business. The good news is there seems to be a lot of heat behind GOA, and it’s looking good that they’ll end up at an even BIGGER network soon! In the meantime, Undertow Films will produce an episode at the WAL tournament.

This announcement doesn’t have much effect on how the tournament will run, but it will mean the below guidelines about logos and releases DO STILL APPLY.

The WAL is excited to host Game of Arms at our event in support of the sport – it’s a great chance to give arm wrestling some much deserved exposure and promote all of you and the WAL.

**The Atlantic City event will start at NOON, until approximately 8pm.

Logo and Release Guidelines:
1. Because everyone in the venue could find themselves on camera for Game of Arms, ALL ATTENDEES will need to sign a one-off appearance release for Undertow Films (the show’s producer), to appear on TV. Additionally, everyone will need to sign the standard WAL appearance release. If you CANNOT sign a release to appear on an episode of TV, you will not be allowed into the venue.

2. GOA operates on a strict logo-control policy. ALL logos on apparel, bags, etc. or any signage other than WAL, will need to be covered or moved out of the line of sight of cameras. Please — WEAR LOGO-FREE CLOTHING. We mean plain clothes or a WAL shirt — no UnderArmour logo, no emblem for a cousin’s car dealership, no Nike swoosh — NOTHING should be on your shirt, hat, etc, for shooting purposes. Not even artwork from an Affliction T-shirt or something like it – it’s all copyrighted. ”

Pullers: Like many of you, we at the WAL got some unexpected news last night about AMC’s decision to no longer produce shows in the reality genre. Unfortunately Game of Arms was part of that corporate repositioning. While we regret the loss of the exposure for the sport, we want to make one thing crystal clear: the WAL is rolling forward full-speed-ahead to keep bringing you the biggest arm-wrestling tournaments in the country. Our goal has been and will continue to be one thing only: to build the largest, most badass arm-wrestling league in the land.

We want to be clear about a couple of things: last night’s news has obvious potential impacts on our recent announcement that the show would shoot at WAL Atlantic City. However, we don’t have many answers yet. The show may still shoot for a while, including at WAL, and the footage may still air on a new network – we simply don’t know yet.

But regardless of what cameras are there, Atlantic City is shaping up to be a massive, exciting tournament to see who can claim the final qualifying spots for the New Orleans WAL Championship. There’s more than $35,000 on the line at the Taj Mahal, and $150,000 more in New Orleans up for grabs for whoever can take it.

As a reminder of the kind of action we generate at these events, below are a couple of videos to get your blood pumping.

Trump Entertainment Resorts received U.S. Bankruptcy Court approval on Wednesday for an agreement that gives it 30 days to craft a cost-cutting turnaround plan to save its Taj Mahal casino-hotel from liquidation. A lawyer for Trump Entertainment said after the hearing in Wilmington, Delaware, that the company could present a plan to end operations. The company plans to close the smaller of its two casinos, the Trump Plaza, next week. It will become the fourth casino-hotel to close in the New Jersey seaside resort this year. Gaming revenues in Atlantic City have fallen by about half over the past eight years as neighboring states legalized slot machines and table games.
