Columbus brought out the best pullers in the world. Every class was deep with top talent. Winning a WAL event truly means that you have beaten the best of the best.

TOURNAMENT: SATURDAY, JUNE 7


Tournament will start at 11:00am SHARP – Tournament will finish by 5:00pm

 

WEIGH-IN AND REGISTRATION: ONE DAY ONLY. FRIDAY, JUNE 6

LOCATION: TBD
TIME: 7:30PM – 11:30PM – THERE WILL BE NO WEIGH-INS ON SATURDAY

TEAM COMPETITION

One of the most compelling characteristics of the sport is the concept of TEAM. Many of you train together everyday, are fierce rivals during a competition then do it all over again. The WAL will celebrate this team concept at the Las Vegas Event by adding a team competition.

  • PAYOUT – FIRST PLACE $2,000 SECOND PLACE $500
  • The team competition will feature right arm only
  • Each team member must also register and compete individually
  • All teams must submit/register their team either online or in person no later than 11:30pm June 6, 2014
  • There will be no additional registration fee for the team competition
  • Each team must consist of one member of each of the Right Hand Weight Classes and one woman competitor at least
  • Check back on May 16 for team scoring

What are your predictions for the fight in the championship A1?
Dave: STANDINGS A1 is quite unusual, it has no analogues in the world, a lot will depend on who will get in early. The draw can be good, and maybe just the opposite.
