We are proud to formally confirm that the forthcoming WAL European Super Qualifier will take place on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th March 2016 at The Crofters Hotel, on the A6 at Cabus, Garstang, Lancashire, England, PR3 1PH.
The Crofters Hotel is situated within a short walk of the historic market town of Garstang and close to the cities of Preston and Lancaster, centrally located in Lancashire, The Crofters Hotel at Cabus near Garstang is within an hour’s travelling distance of most areas of the county.
On what promises to by a spectacular & intense weekend of World Class competition, some of Europe’s finest Armwrestlers are set to embark on the next leg of an epic battle to earn their right to represent themselves & their Countries at The World Armwrestling League Championship Finals in Las Vegas in late June.
After Strong showings in their respective domestic qualifiers, Top Armwrestlers from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, France, Scotland, Ireland & England will go head to head to claim one of just 3 available spots per weight class, per Arm. The action is guaranteed to be explosive from the first Match to the last, as Armwrestlers such as “RELENTLESS” Frode Haugland (NOR), “MIGHTY” Paul Maiden (GBR) and “THE STEEL GIRAFFE” Niklas Nannestad (SWE) all head to “The Crofters” in confident mood & with one eye on Las Vegas.
We greatly look forward to welcoming all Armwrestlers who successfully qualified at their respective Domestic Qualifier Events to The Crofters Hotel to see who will progress to The WAL Season Championship Finals in Las Vegas June 24th – 27th 2016.
