Only 5 months after EuroArm 2016 took place and we already have some partial doping results… That was too fast, I nearly had a heart attack… I hope next time they will let us wait at least 2-3 years for partial results… 🙂

Preliminary results of Controls during EUROARM 2016
Here are the first results from controls done at the European Championship 2016 in Bucharest / May 2016.
Positive cases:
Omer AYDIN / TURKEY
Racho GAKHARIA / Georgia
Grigorii VALIEV / Russia
These 3 athletes are under provisional suspension.
We are waiting for results for 3 more cases.
The names will not be made public, as long as we do not get the Laboratory results.
I apologize in the name of the Doping Control Committee for the long delays.
Please be aware that we are still waiting for the complementary Test results from the Laboratory. The Doping Control Committee can only start the management of the cases AFTER reception of the Lab results!! “
