Previous editions of A1 Russian Open took place in the capital of Russia – Moscow.
This year A1 Russian Open it seems will take in Vladikavkaz which is the capital city of the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, Russia.
Vladikavkaz is just 760 km (by car) away from Sochi (Alexey Voevoda’s hometown), and considering the huge size of Russia, is like they are neighbor cities 🙂 (View the MAP below):
