VIDEOS: Vinny Vetere – Prison Officer and Armwrestler

I have to admit, I’ve never heard of Vinny Vetere before I saw these articles. It all started from an article published by Daily Mail on 25 April 2014 (first video).

In the video from ABC News (published on 27 April 2014), we find out that in order to become King of Arms at 37th Annual NYC Big Apple Grapple International, Vinny Vetere will have to go through his longtime friend and mentor Jason Vale.

I’ve searched some info about Vinny Vetere and Jason Vale, and I can tell now he is the real deal. In 2002 Vinny won the PROFESSIONAL 175 LB. MIDDLE WEIGHT CLASS, in the same class with James Retarides (3rd place), at 2002 LONG ISLAND TOURNAMENT OF TRADES SIT-DOWN ARM WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS.
