The real reason I like this type of events is because it recognizes Armwrestling as a real sport. More people will understand that you have to do some hard specific training for several years, in order to become good at armwrestling. Award events like this one shows that there is actual a huge difference between an armwrestler and a strong athlete from a different sport.

The “Boyka: Athens Warrior Spirit” is the biggest three-day sports festival for martial arts and dynamic sports,
Giorgos Charalampopoulos, 2 times world champion and with a total of over 130 distinctions, was awarded the event with the “WORLD ARMWESTLING PIONEER-DIAMOND Award” and the “WORLD ARMWESTLING LEGEND-GOLD Award”
The next day he presented our sport to Scott Adkins, Silvio Simac and to 3,000 more viewers while there was live streaming in over 180 countries!!!
