Neil Pickup – facebook: ” You were the Armwrestler whose level all other British Pullers aspired to, you were the Armwrestler I looked up to, you were my target, you were my inspiration, you were my goal, your presence within any Event was undeniable, your character on & off the Table unquestionable, you became my friend, you loved & lived for the same sport I did, you were someone who always had my respect, thank you for all the wonderful memories, you were & will always be a true Legend of British Armwrestling & you will never be forgotten. Your presence will be sadly missed, R.I.P. Brother til we meet again at the Table in a different place. Neil xXx ”
Rod Lenette – facebook: ” My daddy touched so many people’s lives and we would like to celebrate his life with everybody that knew and loved him. We are having a celebration of live, not a funeral. This will be held at Oakley sports and social club on Saturday the 3rd June from 12:00 onwards. No flowers please as there is a go find me page set up by ‘Maria George’. Proceeds will go to all the good causes that helped my daddy stay alive as long as he did. There will be an open mic for any eulogies. Please come dressed for a celebration, not a funeral. Happy not sad, just as he would have wanted. Everybody is welcome, please spread the word so we can all say goodbye together. ”
