CAWL TO ARMS is a brand new, unique, action-packed, adrenaline-inducing Co-Ed sport in which teams of students from rival schools around the country face one another in exciting and grueling matches to find the most powerful male and female collegiate arm wrestlers in America! The winning team will be named the inaugural 2014 CAWL TO ARMS GRAND CHAMPIONS…and split $10,000 in cash!
Throughout the competition, team members’ classmates will be on the sidelines screaming for their favorite students as they pump up intensity levels to extreme proportions. Long-held rivalries will reignite and school spirit will be abundant…getting each student’s competitive juices flowing to the max during all of the explosive action!
This one-of-a-kind, hard-hitting College Arm Wrestling show will feature four teams with four members on each team (2 males and 2 females) as they go head-to-head (and arm-to-arm) with team members from rival schools.
Each of the teams will be a part of the new College Arm Wrestling League (also known as the new CAWL). The CAWL will crown a new winning team on an annual basis.
The series will air three 30-minute episodes. The first two episodes will be the openings rounds…and the FINALS will be in Episode 3.
Four teams will be divided into two brackets to form the CAWL. For the 2014 season, those match-ups will be between students from:

Each time an arm wrestling match is won, the winning competitor will be awarded five points for his/her team while the losing competitor will get no points.
Once those 16 matches conclude, there will be a SUDDEN DEATH Round in which each team will get to pick who they think is their best female and male arm wrestlers. The female competitors will go head-to-head with one another first in a SUDDEN DEATH match worth TRIPLE POINTS (15 points). The referee will flip a coin to determine which arm the students will have to use in that contest.
Once that match concludes, there will be a second SUDDEN DEATH match between the chosen male arm wrestlers on each team in another TRIPLE POINT bout worth 15 points. The referee will again flip a coin to determine which arm the students will have to use in that contest.
The team with the most points at the end of all 16 regular matches and The SUDDEN DEATH Round will be declared the winners.
If, however, the two opposing teams are tied in points at the end of all 16 regular matches and The SUDDEN DEATH Round, then the team who’s member scored the FASTEST win in The SUDDEN DEATH Round will be declared the winner…and move on in the tournament.
Once a team is officially declared that episode’s winner, it will move on to the finals (i.e. Episode 3) in the hopes of being declared the 2014 CAWL TO ARMS GRAND CHAMPIONS… and winning $10,000 in cash to split among the members of the team!!
The losing team in each bracket will take home consolation prizes.
The show will not just be a “wake-up call” to all sports fans, it’ll be a national…

We’re very pleased to announce that the exciting inaugural season of CAWL To Arms is scheduled to be airing EXCLUSIVELY on the ESPN Family of Networks at these dates & times:
-1. How much time do you spend training and how did you get to know this sport and be interested in it?
I am constantly thinking about this sport. It rarely leaves my mind for long. I train as much as i think i can handle which will vary. I grew up with armwrestling. with my family, and with my schoolmates. I discovered the “real” sport when i was working in the oilfield when i was 18 years old.
-2. What armwresther do you admire most and why?
I really am a fan of so many armwrestlers, and don’t really want to single anyone out. I try to appreciate the diversity in the sport. Generally I like prefer people who really enjoy and are good at armwrestling if i could be vague.
-3. What are your expectations in this sport?
I expect to be involved in one way or another for my whole life. I will compete as long as i can, at whatever level i can manage, train, and move more into promotion as time goes on.
-4. What other sport do you practice?
I love to play games. Some i make up myself lol.. i have played alot of basketball, and used to do a little MMA, I have dabbled in many sports. These days i am loving ping pong!!
-5. What advice would you give to the young boys and girls who start with this sport?
Be patient. Be consistent. Be diverse. Keep your body balanced. Prioritize table training above all other exercises. Find others who love armwrestling- train/discuss/compete together.
-6. Apart from this sport… what other objectives do you have for your future?
Be a good father, Squeeze as much out of life as possible.
-7. What armwrestling technique do you think is the best?
There is one style or move that will likely be best against one opponent, but i believe that the best technique is diversity.
-8. What has been your worst dissapointment in this sport?
Having surgury on my right elbow

Starting from 15:10, Robert Drenk enters the show as a special guest and talks about the big plans of the UAL – Ultimate Armwrestling League, telling that it will be mind-blowing. Robert Drenk also explains what UAL signed pullers can do, and talks about the affiliated organizations.
Starting from 28:14, Ron Bath enters the show and talks about regaining his motivation after singing with the UAL. Ron says he respects Devon Larratt, and maybe he would try another supermatch with him. Next he talks about how he started armwrestling. Short discussion about NUTRITION. One of his all time favorites is Johnny “Iceman” Walker, interesting story about him, and about how Ron started armwrestling. Ron would like a rematch with Chris Chandler, because he had 220 lb. (100 kg) when he lost to him, and now he weighs 235 lb. (106.5 kg).
