I have met some freaks aswell, we train on the beach sometimes in the summer.. i still remember this guy Sunny – a big 265 pound russian guy. Said he used to do alot of Karate. Within MINUTES he was giving me a very hard time. Now always remember.. the hardest things to learn are the subtle things that happen before the ref says go, and knowing when you are being fkd over, this is where the new guy often looses. ”

Maybe now that Eric Spoto took the record, we can expect him coming to armwrestling. 🙂

He is a legit 6’5″ strong as hell and has the best endurance I have ever seen. Last time we trained I was able to give him some trouble first 15 minutes of practice inside in a hook. In the set matches we had, he got the better of me. His outside pulling combined with his arm height makes me feel real uncomfortable. Whats crazy is 2 hours into practice he felt stronger than when he first got there. I have video footage of the practice somewhere. ”

2013 Russian Open Grip Championships

Former CoC Silver Bullet world record holder Alexey Tyukalov told IronMind that the upcoming Russian Open Grip Championships will be “concentrating more on popularity of the sport than breaking new records,” but don’t think that doesn’t mean the big guns will sitting idly on the sidelines.

“We want more participants in all our competitions,” said Tyukalov.  “In future games we will have more categories, by weight, by age and by men and women.  Next games are the yearly Russian Open Grip Championship in Moscow 5 March.

“There will be Rolling Thunder, Apollon’s Axle, Wrist Roller, Silver Bullet, Hub and closing different grippers.  Some of the best strongmen of Russia will attend in Apollon Axle, motivated by the high results in Los Angeles,” Tyukalov said.

The tightest parallel park is 14 cm (5.51 in) and was achieved by Ronny Wechselberger aka Ronny C’ Rock (Germany), at Flugplatz Kindel in Eisenach, Germany, on 18 June 2012. The feat was recorded for the TV show GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS – Wir holen den Rekord nach Deutschland, aired on RTL2 (Germany).

Ronny used a VW Up with a length of 3.54 m (11 ft 7.37 in), which he parked into a 3.68-cm-long (12 ft 0.88 in) space, marked by two other Ups. The distance was measured electronically with a laser device as well as a measuring tape.

Translation: Oncescu managed to set a New World Record! He walked more than 33 meters underwater, at Dinamo swimming pool! The barbell was even heavier than hoped – 59 kg instead of 50 kg.

Face 33 de tumbe(un om neantrenat executa cel mult 3-5 tumbe)

Ridica o haltera cu greutatea de 50 de kg ca la concurs cu care se deplaseaza 33m

Traverseaza un bazin pe sub apa cu mainile si picioarele in catuse-numai prin ondularea corpului

Merge ca un ” crevete” , doar in degete pe fundul bazinului

Primul concurs de skandenberg subacvatic cu Radu Valahu si multi alti sportivi

Acestea sunt cateva din activităţile pe care le voi face

Description of activities:

Do 33 underwater somersaults (an untrained person performs at most 3-5 somersaults)

Walk as a “shrimp”, only fingers on the bottom of the water pool

The first underwater armwrestling contest with Radu Valahu and many other athletes
