UPDATE (21 January 2019): Dzambolat Tsoriev can take part in some competitions, art. 10.12.1 of World Anti-Doping Code WADA
In April 2014 Dzambolat Tsoriev decided to open the B-sample, following the Doping Results after the Russian Armwrestling Championship 2014 │ UPDATED
Now it seems that the results of the of the B-sample were also positive, therefore the Russian Armsport Association (RAA) in accordance with the RUSADA (Russian anti-doping agency) banned / suspended / disqualified Dzambolat Tsoriev for 10 years: from 21 March 2014 to 20 March 2024.
This happened because Dzambolat Tsoriev was also found positive for doping in 2007 (at WAF World Armwrestling Championships 2007 – Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria).
Anyway it would be interesting to hear the whole story behind this and why it is only for 10 years, because last month for a similar case (2nd time caught with doping) the Russian Armsport Association (RAA) disqualified for life Abdul Eldarov. ” In accordance with the RUSADA, the Disciplinary Committee of the Anti-Doping PAA decided to disqualify Tsoriev Dzambolat Alexandrovich (St. Petersburg) – on 21 March 2014 to 20 March 2024. “
