INTERVIEWS: Richard Lupkes, Robert Drenk, Casey Martin on Arm Wrestling Nation Radio │ 25 August 2013

You really have to listen to it, I wrote about some interesting points of the show:

In the beginning of the show Craig Soubliere and his wife Sara Soubliere talk about the legitimacy of the . Craig said that  has no love for armwrestling because he just wants to see bikini girls armwrestling. Craig said that Hunter lies about the facebook page of the event, he lied about winning his national title and he lied about having the money for the event.

Starting from 17:15, Casey Martin enters the show.

Starting from 39:30,  enters the show.

At 62:30 Robert Drenk also enters the show, and talks about the . Robert said he made a very good offer to Wagner Bortolato to pull , before he made the offer to . Wagner didn’t have the mindset at the moment, but at the end of the event Wagner came to Robert and said he is looking forward to work together in the future.

Robert Drenk tells about when he first proposed a match with , Devon said no way… 🙂 Next Robert offered $1000 and Devon said he will think about it… And in the end Robert knew that he has to put Devon on a spot in front of everybody to push him, and made the $5000  offer.

Robert Drenk said that he is now trying to finalize things, to sign an exclusive contract with Devon Larratt.

Robert Drenk committed on the show to get just as heavy titles for the left hand as for the right hand. There will also be a championship belt for the women classes. At the end Robert thanks to all the people helped making the event possible and talks about what will happen at UAL Head Quarters Grand Opening – 31 August 2013.

Don Underwood didn’t get into the show.

At the end of the show Craig Soubliere remembered that  was not nice and he was threatening him in the previous radio show. Craig said that he is waiting for Travis in Florida to settle the matter, not on the armwrestling table. 🙂

” The UAL is excited to announce UAL IV this Saturday Aug 24th in Las Vegas NV at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. In light of everything that has happened with another organization we have decided to hold an event last minute for those of you that traveled and spent your hard earned money to compete in this Sport! We understand there is a lot of confusion that is out there but rest assure UAL will hold an event. We are not at liberty to speak on behalf of the other organization all we know is they have cancelled an event that was scheduled to take place at Stoney’s Rockin Country on the same date. We have spoken to Stoney himself and he wishes all Armwrestlers nothing but the best . There will be no PPV with the UAL, however our in-house production team will be onsite filming promo videos for future events. We are looking at a couple of Ultimate Match Up’s and possibly a live stream of the event for those of you at home.

  • Open Class Tournament Men’s Right Arm & Left Arm / 4 weight classes each
  • Ladies Open Tournament 2 weight classes
  • entry fee per arm is $50

The pre-party / early weigh-ins and pre-registration will start at 6pm friday night in the Grand Ballroom Suite 121 and close at 10:00pm sharp, we will have a professional photographer onsite to take pictures of you for future promotions. Please have your drivers license and or passport on hand, if you have your SS card that would be great. Sat morning at 7am registration will open, you can also take photos at that time as well. Registration will close at 9:00am and the main event will start at 11:00am in the same Grand Ballroom 121

Weight Classes have been changed for this 1-time event as athletes have cut to specific weights due to a prior engagement / event:
Men’s Right & Left Arm 4-weight classes
  • Light Weight 0 – 165
  • Middle Weight 166 – 190
  • Heavy Weight 191 – 220
  • Super Heavy Weight 221 – over
Ladies will have 2 Weight Classes
  • Light Weight 0 – 140
  • Middle Weight 141 – up

Men’s Open Class Left Arm

I’m getting better … I was planning in pulling 220 … But under the new conditions and lack of big money incentive i would love to see where I’m at and where Devon is at !!! ” As of 11am the event has not been cancelled. I was told to give that message out of FB and the MB, so people coming from outside the Country could choose whether they come to Vegas or not. I was up until 1:30am, trying to contact who I could.
Robert Drenk & The UAL are trying to figure something out. I hope for the sake of all of us who have put out our hard earned $ and loss time from work and any other commitments someone happens to save this disaster.
Is Marvin the Only one to blame, since the whole story is not know, I wouldn’t say that.

” It looks as though the Vegas event is falling through. I wanted to publicly apologize to anyone who considered taking me up on the wager, especially Denis Cyplenkov who i made proposals to directly. Under the current light i would have to believe that this match also would never have happened. It was never my intention to be involved in anything shady, or to hurt Denis or anyone who would have taken the challenge . I was naive to believes the claims that were made to me, when all the warning signs were there. Many reputable people spoke up early, and i continued to promote the validity of the event by publicly issuing the challenges that came my way. For this i am sorry.

I have purchased a non – refundable ticket to Vegas. Sooo i am there anyways. UAL – you guys are awesome. I have seen what you do with 3 days notice before, and if anything is goin down i will be there.. otherwise i will armwrestle for hot dogs and mustard on the strip.. “

World Bar Armwrestling is No LONGER producing and airing the event scheduled for this Saturday, August 24, 2013. This is an unfortunate situation and we understand the needs and concerns of our Armwrestling family. World Bar will be attempting to cover commitments that have been made. In light of these circumstances, the show must go on!! Over the last 5 hours we have been working on what’s best for The Pullers that have trained and spent money traveling for this event.

SO HERE’S THE DEAL: The UAL is now holding UAL IV on Saturday, August 24, 2013. The host site is being determined as we speak and more updates will follow shortly on www.TheUAL.com
