You really have to listen to it, I wrote about some interesting points of the show:
In the beginning of the show Craig Soubliere and his wife Sara Soubliere talk about the legitimacy of the DAYTONA CHALLENGE 2013. Craig said that Hunter Mann has no love for armwrestling because he just wants to see bikini girls armwrestling. Craig said that Hunter lies about the facebook page of the event, he lied about winning his national title and he lied about having the money for the event.
Starting from 17:15, Casey Martin enters the show.
Starting from 39:30, Richard Lupkes enters the show.
At 62:30 Robert Drenk also enters the show, and talks about the UAL IV – MGM GRAND │ 24 August 2013, Las Vegas. Robert said he made a very good offer to Wagner Bortolato to pull Devon Larratt, before he made the offer to Oleg Zhokh. Wagner didn’t have the mindset at the moment, but at the end of the event Wagner came to Robert and said he is looking forward to work together in the future.
Robert Drenk tells about when he first proposed a match with Oleg Zhokh, Devon said no way… 🙂 Next Robert offered $1000 and Devon said he will think about it… And in the end Robert knew that he has to put Devon on a spot in front of everybody to push him, and made the $5000 offer.
Robert Drenk said that he is now trying to finalize things, to sign an exclusive contract with Devon Larratt.
Robert Drenk committed on the show to get just as heavy titles for the left hand as for the right hand. There will also be a championship belt for the women classes. At the end Robert thanks to all the people helped making the event possible and talks about what will happen at UAL Head Quarters Grand Opening – 31 August 2013.
Don Underwood didn’t get into the show.
At the end of the show Craig Soubliere remembered that Travis Bagent was not nice and he was threatening him in the previous radio show. Craig said that he is waiting for Travis in Florida to settle the matter, not on the armwrestling table. 🙂
On Arm Wrestling Nation Radio this Sunday Aug 25th at 8pm E.S.T. I have another jammed packed show this week my special guest will be Casey Martin, Don Underwood and Richard Lupkes will be joining me. Also all the week’s news and happening’s in the world of Arm Wrestling a lot of things have gone down and I will have the scoop for you.

Воевода, Матюшенко. Тренировка и интервью(14.08.13)
Source: RUSARM.PRO
I wrote below about some interesting points of the interview:
When was asked to estimate Ivan Matyushenko’s level, Alexey Voevoda said that it is high level and that his strong point is the wrist. Alexey said he did his workout in that morning and Ivan trained a day before, therefore it is impossible to be objective. Next Alexey was asked if he watched the A1 Russian Open 2013.
When asked about his return to armwrestling, Alexey said he didn’t actually leave armwrestling because “it’s impossible to quit, it’s like mafia. A good pulling sect… It’s like a drug.” 🙂 . But he cannot say for sure when he will return to competitions. He will talk to Igor Mazurenko maybe he will offer him some interesting matches. Alexey said that his motivation increases when he pulls good armwrestlers like Matyushenko and Murat Kariaev.
Alexey said that Ivan Matyushenko is getting ready for the 35th World Armwrestling Championships 2013 and it would be great to train with him at least for two weeks.
Alexey said that he respects Michael Todd because he is a good guy, and they pulled before.
Alexey said that Devon Larratt is kind of a goon, he is funny. 🙂 He said that Devon always have long matches therefore he had gained good endurance, static endurance. He said that on a scale of 5, John Brzenk is 5+ and Devon Larratt is 4+.
Asked about a score for Denis Cyplenkov vs. Devon Larratt, Voevoda said Cyplenkov would win with 6-0 because he can’t straighten his arm in general, and if he would go “under the table” (KING’s move) he would wear out even Larratt. He said that to have a win over Denis one needs to attack the biceps in the right vector. Only John Brzenk did that, according to Alexey Voevoda.

John R Brzenk ► Devon Larratt: ” I’m still going to be there with a few Team Utah members ! I’ll wrestle you for a Hotdog with mustard !!!
Maybe Drenk can set up an Overall for a years supply ! “
John R Brzenk ► Armwrestling John – Engin: ” I really hope they decide on a Overall round. …I’m pulling 220 class ….but i would love to test the arm on ALL the superheavyweights this weekend !!!
I was asked … I said Yes, no brainer proposal for me ! I’m getting better … I was planning in pulling 220 … But under the new conditions and lack of big money incentive i would love to see where I’m at and where Devon is at !!! Friendly challenge … Better take your chance while I’m still weak Devon 🙂 no pressure 🙂
I’ll even go best of 10 🙂
And of course a side bet of hotdogs ! A full package ! “
Devon Larratt ► Armwrestling John – Engin: ” i will 100% pull you l3fty, but my right is not quit3 r3ady for comp3tition… John, i would lov3 to do th3 right hand3d r3match with you, i think w3 should wait anoth3r f3w months.. i am v3ry clos3 to b3ing comp3tition r3ady, and wh3n that tim3 com3s w3 will pull.. untill th3n, i hav3 don3 too much r3hab to throw away.. as i am sur3 you kn3w, i had no int3ntion of pulling right hand3d in v3gas. if you want to do th3 match, w3 will organiz3 it this w33k3nd through th3 ual. s33 ya soon, w3 will discuss ov3r hot dogs. “
John R Brzenk ► Armwrestling John – Engin: ” no worries Devon .. Just thought it would be a good easy time to test it out .. If your three months away from being 100 percent I’m sure you wouldn’t have any problem with me … I’m still very slow going .. I might just decide to play poker instead ! Your really ready to Risk that left title against me ??? 🙂 pretty courageous of you 🙂
No I didn’t know you weren’t pulling. Right handed ! Robert asked me based on the hotdog comment ! “

Allen Fisher – facebook (21 August 2013):
” Very Important Update on the Vegas event this weekend.
There is a good chance the Vegas event may not happen. The person behind funding the entire tournament may have backed out. I’ll keep you posted, as soon as I hear something.
Marvin. “
Allen Fisher – facebook (21 August 2013):
” World Bar Arm Wrestling – Investor Issues please standby

Marcin Mielniczuk – northeastboard:
” Igor Mazurenko and Andrey Pushkar are in plane now – flying to Vegas. Should I call pilot to go back? :/ “
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Robert Drenk – northeastboard:
” I’m not sure if I can pull it off with 3 days notice but with enough support I’d consider trying… How many people will be in Vegas? If I get enough people guaranteeing they will be there I will put an event on! Bill and I feel bad for all of those that spent money to be there. I’d try to make the event happen at MGM Grand.
Feedback needed fast! “
Ultimate Armwrestling League – facebook:
” Who would show up to Vegas if we were to put an event on aug 24th at MGM Grand, keep in mind it will be a last minute deal for UAL so not sure how pretty it will be… Prize money would be minor but for those of you that spent your hard earned money would have an event to pull at! Feedback quickly please “
Allen Fisher – northeastboard:
” As of 11am the event has not been cancelled. I was told to give that message out of FB and the MB, so people coming from outside the Country could choose whether they come to Vegas or not. I was up until 1:30am, trying to contact who I could.
Robert Drenk & The UAL are trying to figure something out. I hope for the sake of all of us who have put out our hard earned $ and loss time from work and any other commitments someone happens to save this disaster.
Is Marvin the Only one to blame, since the whole story is not know, I wouldn’t say that.
Any News I get will be here and FB. “
” It looks as though the Vegas event is falling through. I wanted to publicly apologize to anyone who considered taking me up on the wager, especially Denis Cyplenkov who i made proposals to directly. Under the current light i would have to believe that this match also would never have happened. It was never my intention to be involved in anything shady, or to hurt Denis or anyone who would have taken the challenge . I was naive to believes the claims that were made to me, when all the warning signs were there. Many reputable people spoke up early, and i continued to promote the validity of the event by publicly issuing the challenges that came my way. For this i am sorry.
I have purchased a non – refundable ticket to Vegas. Sooo i am there anyways. UAL – you guys are awesome. I have seen what you do with 3 days notice before, and if anything is goin down i will be there.. otherwise i will armwrestle for hot dogs and mustard on the strip.. “
” Announcement:

In early August, in the Crimea, on the Black Sea, in the wonderful resort of Sudak, we met with a great and mighty Russian Denis rukobortsa Tsyplenkova. A week before that Denis has once again proved the title of strongest, winning the Moscow tournament A1 Russian Open. Wasting no time, we asked Dennis to be interviewed for readers of “Iron World”.
And on your screens Crimean early morning promenade cafes “Raisin”, our questions are answered by Denis Cyplenkov.Original – IronWorld.ru │ Google Translate
George Zakaidze ► Armwrestling John – Engin: ” he says that he does not care about world and Europe, they dont interest him, and because of his work, he does not have alot of time to compete everywhere. he says that fight against devon he is interested in but only if there is a good offer on the table, and enough notice is given (2-3 month). he does not really mind if its in US, but ofcourse he would like it to be closer home. he talks about his diet, what he eats, and says that he does not really eat much. ”
he also said that at his biggest, his arms were 61cm, 24.5″
he said that he thinks why his hands were taking big hits on the table at a1 with such ease is because of heavy farmers walks he has been doing. “

Here it is what the legend John Brzenk (who pulled both armwrestlers in the past) said right after he saw the original Denis CYPLENKOV vs. Devon LARRATT drawing / sketch:
John Brzenk ► Armwrestling John – Engin:
” Nice drawing … If it ends there … Devon will win 🙂 trust me ! “
And here it is what Engin Terzi wrote, while waiting an answer from Krasimir Kostadinov:
Engin Terzi ► Armwrestling John – Engin:
” right hand i would vote on Denis.left hand i believe first 2 round goes to Denis but not sure about the 3 round..so i would say 50-50..if Denis would be smart enough to save his power before the start then Denis, and if he can not save his power before the start then Devon.. “
